
Project Manager - Property Development
About This Job
Our client, a well-established property development company, is seeking to recruit a Project Manager to join its growing team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing residential and commercial development projects from the planning stage through to construction, completion, and handover. Working closely with the CEO, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities, the selected individual will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the planning, feasibility, and development stages of residential and commercial property projects.
- Coordinate project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure projects progress according to schedule.
- Review architectural drawings and provide input where required.
- Liaise with architects, engineers, notaries, consultants, government authorities, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate development applications, permits, planning approvals, and regulatory submissions.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and compliance files.
- Assist with project budgeting, cost tracking, and financial administration.
- Coordinate bank guarantees, insurance policies, and other project-related compliance requirements.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure works are carried out according to plan.
- Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure quality standards are maintained throughout construction.
- Coordinate the procurement of finishes, fixtures, fittings, and materials.
- Obtain supplier quotations, place purchase orders, and coordinate deliveries to site.
- Monitor finishing schedules and ensure timely completion of all finishing works.
- Identify project risks, delays, or issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Prepare regular project progress reports and provide updates to senior management.
- Coordinate meetings with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication across all projects.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Project Management, preferably within property development, construction, or a related industry.
- Good understanding of the property development process from planning through to project completion.
- Experience liaising with architects, consultants, contractors, suppliers, financial institutions, and government authorities.
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and project management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- A valid driving licence and willingness to travel regularly between project sites.
