Our client, is a well-established Malta-based company specialising in bespoke architectural, interior and outdoor solutions, including doors, pergolas, awnings, glass systems, railings, decking and other made-to-measure products. The company works with both residential and commercial clients, providing solutions from initial consultation and design through to installation and after-sales service.
They are currently looking to recruit a Sales Executive to join its team. The successful candidate will be based in the showroom and will be responsible for guiding customers through the sales process, understanding their requirements, recommending suitable solutions and ensuring a smooth experience from initial enquiry through to installation and after-sales.

Working Hours
The position is based on a 40-hour working week, with the successful candidate required to work until 6:00pm on four weekdays and from 9:00am to 1:00pm on Saturdays, with one weekday off.
They are currently looking to recruit a Sales Executive to join its team. The successful candidate will be based in the showroom and will be responsible for guiding customers through the sales process, understanding their requirements, recommending suitable solutions and ensuring a smooth experience from initial enquiry through to installation and after-sales.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers visiting the showroom, understanding their requirements and providing professional advice on the company's products and solutions
- Develop a strong understanding of the company's product range and provide customers with accurate and relevant product information
- Prepare and issue quotations based on customer requirements
- Follow up on quotations and enquiries to maximise sales opportunities
- Manage customer orders from confirmation through to completion
- Monitor the progress of ongoing orders and coordinate with the relevant internal teams
- Organise and coordinate installations, ensuring that customers and installers have the necessary information
- Liaise closely with the installation team, back-office and other departments to ensure projects progress smoothly
- Keep customers updated on the status of their orders and installations
- Handle customer queries and complaints professionally, taking appropriate action to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction
- Provide effective after-sales support and follow up on any outstanding customer matters
- Follow up with customers regarding outstanding payments where required
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and sales records
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers and internal teams
- Keep up to date with product developments, technical information and market trends relevant to the company's products
- Recommend improvements to products, services and processes based on customer feedback and market requirements
- Contribute to achieving the overall sales objectives of the company
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the smooth running of the showroom and wider business
- Perform other sales and customer-related duties as required
- Previous experience in sales;
- Previous experience selling products where customers require advice, quotations and a degree of product knowledge will be considered an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build strong relationships with customers
- Proactive, outgoing and confident personality
- Strong customer-service and sales-oriented mindset
- Good presentation and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple customer enquiries and orders simultaneously
- Ability to follow up effectively and ensure that customer matters are brought through to completion
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
- A willingness and ability to develop strong product and technical knowledge
- Good problem-solving skills and a practical, solution-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team
- Fluency in Maltese will be considered an asset
- Candidates must already be residing in Malta
